This was the first time bringing our children to Canada and while staying in Niagara, we wanted them to experience the most that the falls had to offer. The tour guide, Alisha, was excellent. She talked about interesting historical facts about the falls, different events from the past and present, and was generally informative about the location, good places to visit and eat at. I would highly recommend the tour. The kids had a lot of fun. Bring water if coming in hotter months! The kids were quite thirsty and hot but we all had fun. The boat to the falls was the most fun we all had. You will get wet so dress accordingly but it is certainly an experience you can't get anywhere else.

Our tour guide, Alisha, was fantastic and enrgetic! She gave us so much background and info that it made all that we were seeing even more wonderful. She was fun and knowledgeable. The behind the falls was just remarkable and you were right up front. There wasn't much time here, but it was wonderful to be able to see what others do not. Alisha also told us right where to stand for the best view, and splash, on the boat! It was perfect! We enjoyed her immensely and totally would recommend this tour for sure! I was worried that I wasn't going to get all of the things we wanted to do in "one" place....but this package was perfect.

Our tour guide was amazing. She was a very personable and kind.
In the beginning we had trouble finding the group. The initial email said we would be meeting outside of the Skylon Tower and our tour guide would be wearing a white shirt. After some stressful waiting out front, we learned that everyone was gathering inside and the tour guides were wearing black shirts. A simple update to their generic email would have solved this issue. There were other patrons waiting outside with us just as confused.
With that all said, it was a great experience and we would use this tour organization again if opportunity arises.

- No parking is available at the tour meeting point. There are 2 (out of 11 total) main paid parking lots located at Niagara Parkway. Both parking lots are open year-round.
- Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. We’re unable to accommodate late arrivals or issue refunds.
- Tip: Keep an eye on the skies—peregrine falcons often soar near the Falls. These cliff-dwelling birds are not just rare but also the fastest animals on earth.

Journey behind the falls was blah. Lot of time wasted on a mediocre sight. The observation deck was cool. Boat was fun but we stood in wrong place. Got drenched. Had to pull hood over our faces bc we were getting plummeted so didn't really get to view the horseshoe falls.

I had such an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, Alora, was really friendly, knowledgeable and organised. It was great to hear some stories about the history of the falls as we walked around. The experiences themselves were incredible. It was great to get so close to the falls and to see them from such unique angles. Worth noting - if you go on the boat ride you WILL get soaked, even wearing the poncho! Definitely still worth it but plan your outfit accordingly!!

Our tour guide, Linda, was wonderful! Very informative and gave us helpful tips and tricks to get the best "seats" on the boat. The sights were amazing, hard to describe with words. The walk from the boat to the Journey Beyond the Falls wasn't bad at all and there were only a couple of sets of stairs. The gift shop at the Journey Beyond the Falls is much bigger and nicer than the first gift shop you walk through after you get off the boat. Overall, great experience, would definitely recommend seeing the Falls this way! And, Canada was beautiful, very clean, nice people, better views of the Falls, actually a nicer overall visit than the US side.

We enjoyed having Alicia as our guide, however, the whole tour was a big rush from one place to the next. We didn't have time to take photos at the good spots and could not hear what she was saying because my daughter and I could not keep up with the fast pace she set. Also, the trip to the observation deck would be more effective if it was the last spot on the tour. We did see the attractions we bought tickets for. Our tour was supposed to be an hour and a half, but was more like 3 hours.

This was the first time bringing our children to Canada and while staying in Niagara, we wanted them to experience the most that the falls had to offer. The tour guide, Alisha, was excellent. She talked about interesting historical facts about the falls, different events from the past and present, and was generally informative about the location, good places to visit and eat at. I would highly recommend the tour. The kids had a lot of fun. Bring water if coming in hotter months! The kids were quite thirsty and hot but we all had fun. The boat to the falls was the most fun we all had. You will get wet so dress accordingly but it is certainly an experience you can't get anywhere else.

We elected to go for the 'behind the falls' + the tower+a boat trip. We really enjoyed the trip overall - if we had a citicism it would be that the first part of the tour (behind the falls) felt rushed as we had only. 45 minutes to queue,descend see the 3 viewing points quickly and queue again for the lift back up in order to get the coach to the tower. We would have preferred more time to get more pictures and felt this was not organised for the visitors convenience. We also felt rushed when we stopped at the maple syrup stop which we enjoyed. The guide was good and answered all my questions. The falls were spectacular.

My daughter (14 years old) and I did the all-inclusive tour (Floral Clock, Whirlpool, Maple Syrup Tasting, Behind the falls, Tower, Boat Tour) at the end of July and were very enthusiastic. Our expectations were fully met and if we had to choose, we would book it again! I'll start with the "but" in the description: The first three stops in particular are very short or "touristy" (of course it's the whole vacation, otherwise we wouldn't be here). That means getting off the bus, taking photos and getting back on the bus. The maple syrup tasting is nice and at the same time clearly commercial! Did we have a problem with that? No! Why? The clear answer: the tour guide and our expectations. It was clear to us from the outset that the group tour was a group tour and therefore not everyone could hang around everywhere for hours. At the same time, and we both found this very positive, the tour guide told us from the outset how things would go and what we could actually expect. The Floral Clock is just a few flowers. Should you stop there? Yes! Should you stop there for a long time? No! So everything done right. The same with the other "advance" stops. It was completely different at the falls themselves. It was clearly explained to us when we should be where. Where we had to go and how to get in. Here, we were actually guided to the respective door so that we couldn't get lost (although it did happen to us on the way back on our own). We had enough time at ALL the stations and were able to see everything in a relatively relaxed manner. Behind the falls and the tower are quite nice and if you are there, you should definitely do that (the guide was right there too, you probably only come here once). The real highlight was of course the boat tour. Very impressive, very wet and an absolute must! Tip: Despite the poncho, pack a change of clothes and, if possible, perhaps slippers or similar for the boat. We stood at the bottom and at the very front and the water ran into the top of our boncho and our feet got wet from below. On the upper deck, at least our feet seemed to stay dry. The return journey took almost 2.5 hours due to the evening traffic jam. On a positive note, a short break was made so that we could use the toilets or buy snacks if necessary (not a planned tourist activity!). We stopped at a Tim Horton's so no commission for the driver or guide from the store). The bottom line, and you can probably tell from the review, is that the trip was worthwhile and is also highly recommended in terms of value for money! It's probably cheaper if you travel or take care of it yourself, but for us as "uninformed tourists" the package was definitely the right choice. Thank you very much!

the the skylone tower, boat ride and being behind the falls was pretty good and as expected. I would've liked some free time (as advertised) from the tour company to be able to see more of the town. Took my parents for a birthday treat and this night tour was just... wow. The falls LIT UP in all those colors, and we even got to press the button to change them ourselves! Our guide, Sam, cracked so many jokes and made us feel like VIPs. Bit chilly so I was glad I brought a scarf, but honestly, the lights and fireworks were worth every goosebump. We stayed after to watch the lights shift for a while, just soaking it all in. 10/10, will remember this forever.

Took my parents for a birthday treat and this night tour was just... wow. The falls LIT UP in all those colors, and we even got to press the button to change them ourselves! We very much liked the boat ride to the falls. It was an incredible experience with the water in the air and the turbulences of the falling water. The raincoat provided is a good protection against the water. Of course, the shoes get wet which can be accepted. However, the guided tour before was not so well organized. Because of the background noise of the falls the guy was difficult to understand and because of the large group he could not get through to everyone. For such problems one can imagine better solutions.

So glad we booked with your group! There are two opportunities for improvement based on our groups experience. When booking (and checking in) it would be great if groups traveling together could indicate that they are with another family or families. It would also be great if that could be a question during the checkin process - our check in email came the morning of our departure. It would've been great if that detailed info came with our booking and then the reminder was sent the day before. Finally, our check-in host was not very pleasant. She seemed stressed and while very understandable given the circumstances she was the only person during the whole time there that didn't smile, have a kind tone, or seem welcoming. We all have "off" days and perhaps July 3rd was hers.

When I booked it on the website, it said that the Gorge was part of the tour, which my friend was excited about. The intineray said "Niagara Falls, Maid of the Mist, Niagara Gorge, Cave of the Winds, and the Obersvation Tower" I'm assuming the obersvation tower was the landing on the top of maid of the mist, but we did not do the Gorge. While our guide was very pleasant, we did not see any value add from taking the tour vs. doing the attractions on our own - certainly not worth the large mark-up just to be led from place to place. Most of the group arrived late so we wasted our time waiting for them, and then the group straggled so much it was difficult for the guide to share info. Also, the email confirmation had the wrong meeting place. If I hadn't called to get precise directions, we would have waited at the wrong location. Overall, it was not a positive experience and we would not waste our money again taking tours with Headout. Pleasant guide but company added no real value. Save money and just follow the signs and go on your own.

Our guide, Janel, was amazing and had a ton of interesting stories to share. She kept the whole group engaged and ensured we finished right on time. I was traveling with my in laws who couldn't walk too far so she suggested us alternatives (a trolley ride) to cover part of the tour and met us at the next checkpoint.
The markup compared to the ticket prices is quite high though. Both tickets will set you back by about $60 but you nearly pay $140 for an adult. Now if all or most of the extra money went to the guides, I'd be more than happy, but I doubt that's the case. Anyway, we had a great time.

The highlight of our experience was to see the falls which was spectacular however what made the whole experience even more memorable was our guide Mary. She was warm and friendly and so knowledgeable about Buffalo. Mary never rushed us and smoothly guided us from one event to another. The tour started nearly an hour after we were told to be at the meeting point. I thought that the price we paid was pretty high considering that we really only got the tickets to the Maid of the Mist and Cave of Winds. We booked the 119$ tour which included all the sites and stops. First to note, our tour guide showed up in sagging sweats, no company logo or anything, really could have been anyone who walked by. While his attire didn't bother us, his lack of respect for not being on his phone did. He did not seem to know much facts of the tour, rather guesstimate. If only he would do the tour on his own and read all the monument sign posts he may learn what we had by reading them rather than listening to him. The sites we gorgeous, and views were breath taking. But I would advise anyone to save their money and do the sites on your own which will save you a lot of lack of informational talk, and money as the attractions that were booked on our behalf were 1/3 of our costs at best. It says up to 6 hours, we were done in 4. And while it says dinner will be shared amongst group, there is no food included. We will not recommend or use again,but the good intent is there. Just not price worthy. 317$ for 2 adults and 1 children, for things that would have costs about 120$ on our own. Do your homework on the attractions you'd like to see, I thought I had, but I didn't know what inwas looking for in a quick booking.

This was the wrong tour for us and after only two hours when we realized it was the wrong tour, your company would not do anything for us in regards to a refund. we were told becouse it was within the 24 hour period of the tour. Our tour guide was fantastic! We were his first tour group as he had been in training to become a guide, and he was amazing. He was funny and friendly and had some great recommendations of places to eat and see in Toronto as well. The tours were great, though with all the add-ons, we didn't actually get enough free time to see the town, so that was a bit of a bummer, but overall was a great value for the cost.

There are two opportunities for improvement based on our groups experience. When booking (and checking in) it would be great if groups traveling together could indicate that they are with another family or families. It would also be great if that could be a question during the checkin process - our check in email came the morning of our departure. It would've been great if that detailed info came with our booking and then the reminder was sent the day before. Finally, our check-in host was not very pleasant. She seemed stressed and while very understandable given the circumstances she was the only person during the whole time there that didn't smile, have a kind tone, or seem welcoming. We all have "off" days and perhaps July 3rd was hers.

Bernie was the best guide! My husband and I had so much fun. The other group we were suppose to go with canceled so we basically had a private tour. Bernie was so knowledgeable and friendly! We absolutely adored him. I'd say the tour was worth it if you're looking for more of the historical side of Niagara which we were. The caves were super cool! I'd recommend the early morning tour, because it got super packed closer to the afternoon.
