You can take the tour from either the USA side that departs from Lewiston, New York (USA), or the Canada side that departs from Queenston, Ontario (Canada).
Both departure points offer the same thrilling experience, with wet and dry jet options available on each side. Your choice of side may depend on where you're staying or how you'd like to cross the border.
The Wet Jet Tour is a high-speed, fully open-air experience where you’ll get drenched; it’s like diving into a pool over and over again. The Dry Freedom Jet Tour gives you the same stunning views of the Niagara Gorge, Whirlpool, and River, but from within a fully enclosed boat, so you stay dry the entire time.
Pro Tip–For the Wet jet boat, you’ll need a full change of clothes (including footwear) after your ride. On chilly days, layering up is recommended; splash gear like sweaters or ponchos may be provided.

These tours operate seasonally, typically between April and October. This is due to weather conditions, with colder temperatures and icy water making the tours less enjoyable or even unsafe outside of these months. Depending on conditions, the tours may even run from mid-May to November.

Wet Jet Tour

From late spring to early fall (May-September), the river experiences its highest flow, and the air temperatures are comfortably warm-ideal for an invigorating experience. At the start of the season, you’ll encounter the full strength of spring runoff, but as the season progresses, the warmer sunlight reduces the chill, making each drop feel revitalizing.

Dry Freedom Jet Tour

Summer months (June-August) are perfect for a dry-seat cruise, with the breeze acting as natural air conditioning. However, don’t overlook April-May and September-October, as fewer crowds and colorful foliage create a stunning, more intimate experience whenever the water is accessible.

By car: From Niagara Falls, head south on Niagara Parkway/Queen Victoria Park Road. Continue for 7 km, passing the Floral Clock and Whirlpool Aero Car turn‑offs. Turn left onto River Frontage Road; follow it 500m.
Parking: Complimentary, open‑air lot located adjacent to the dock. Spaces are first‑come, first‑served.
By taxi & rideshare: Drop‑off is right at the orange “Whirlpool Jet” flags-your guide will meet you curbside.
By public transit: Take the Niagara Falls Shuttle – Route 1 stops at Queenston Village.
Walking: From the shuttle stop, it’s a 5-min stroll down River Frontage Road; simply follow the riverside path until you see our check‑in hut.

USA side

By car: Take the Niagara Scenic Parkway north for about 8 miles. Exit at West River Road/Lower River Road toward Lewiston, then turn left onto Lower River Road. After 500m, bear right onto South Water Street and follow 200m.
Parking: Complimentary, open‑air lot directly adjacent to the waterfront boardwalk.
By taxi & rideshare: Drop‑off is right at the orange “Whirlpool Jet” flags on our waterfront boardwalk (adjacent to the Griffon Brewery & Gastropub); your guide will meet you curbside.
By public transit: Accessible via the Discover Niagara Shuttle; Route A stops at South Water Street.
Walking: From the shuttle stop, it’s a 5‑min stroll south along South Water Street. Follow the riverside promenade to the check‑in hut.

Your safety is our top priority. From the moment you step on board:

Stay seated & belted: Sudden turns and rapids can jolt the boat; keep that seatbelt fastened.
Life jacket on: The crew will provide you with the outfit; keep it on until you are safely ashore.
Hands & gear inside: No leaning over rails, no unapproved selfie sticks; the team will manage all camera mounts so you can focus on the ride.
Follow crew signals: Boarding and disembarkation have precise steps; listen for the captain’s instructions.
No loose items: Hats, scarves, or dangling accessories can catch wind; secure them before departure.
Animals: Pets or any other animals (including service animals) are not permitted.
Height requirement: Wet Jet seats have a minimum height requirement of 44″ (112 cm) and Dry Jet seats require guests to be at least 40″ (102 cm) tall. Children aged 12 and under or under 100 lbs are not permitted in the first 3-4 rows.

Wet Jet Tour

You’ll be drenched. Pack a complete change of clothes; dry shorts, a fresh T‑shirt, and a towel. You’ll be given ponchos and life jackets, but on cooler days a warm base layer beneath your poncho will keep you comfortable.
Water‑ready shoes or our on‑site boots are a must. Avoid flip‑flops, which can slip off during those swirling rapids.

Dry Freedom Jet Tour

Feel free to bring your DSLR, GoPro, or smartphone; our sealed cabin means you stay dry. Just secure everything with wrist straps or place small electronics in a zipped pouch. The gorge breeze can be surprisingly cool, especially in the morning or late afternoon. A light jacket or sweater will keep you cozy as you zip past canyon walls.

Arrive at least 45 minutes early for all tours to complete registration, sign agreements, and attend safety orientation. Late arrivals won't be accommodated.
The tour is not suitable for pregnant individuals or anyone with a history of back, neck, heart, or osteoporosis-related issues. These are high-adrenaline rides, so safety is prioritized at every step.
Wet Jet seats have a minimum height requirement of 44″ (112 cm); children aged 12 and under or under 100 lbs are not permitted in the first 3-4 rows.
Dry Jet seats require guests to be at least 40″ (102 cm) tall; children aged 12 and under or under 100 lbs are not permitted in the first 3-4 rows.
Children are measured on-site and must meet these minimums to be permitted to ride. Additionally, kids under 12 years old or weighing less than 100 pounds are not allowed to sit in the front three or four rows of the boat, as determined by the boat crew.
