Our tour guide, Dave, was engaging and obviously excited to share tips, history and trivia during our visit to Niagara Falls. He was enthusiastic and informative and even offered to take pictures for us. Definitely helped us have a positive and memorable experience ❤️ Thanks Dave!
Peter and Paul were both wonderful! We learned so much, we're exactly on time for everything and felt very taken care of. Thank you for everything it was a very memorable morning :)
This was truly an amazing experience for me, my wife, and our cutie 9-month old baby girl. The tour guide was very friendly and he even asked to take photo from us at the observational deck.
Jacob was absolutely amazing. The waterfalls were amazing. This day was an amazing day. So glad we did the tour i wish I would have added on the cave of Winds but next time we definitely will.
The passion behind every guide was edvident as you can tell they love what they do. It was pouring down rain but Greg kept us busy and distracted until we got to the Maid of the Mist and were able to settle. His excitement for all things nature is contagious and his people skills with all kinds is awesome. He is a gem!
Getting tickets was so easy! Our tour guide was very nice and easy to get along with! We really enjoyed talking to him! He was very adamant about safety.
Our guide Jacob was super awesome and very knowledgeable.. great personality and had a great rapport with everyone on the group!
My husband and I had a wonderful time! Greg was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. He took time to make everyone feel comfortable along the wat. Maid of the Mist was a roaring, great, fun filled experience and well worth the time and money. I highly recommend this tour and boat ride!
We all had a wonderful time. Our tour guide Greg was the best! He explained the history of Niagara Falls and was imformative. He was with the group the entire time. He even waited for us at the end and told us awesome daredevil stories about Niagara Falls. We appreciate the fun adventure and we highly recommend this experience.
Our guide, Bernie, was fantastic! Riding the Maid of the Mist is a life changing experience. Seeing the falls this way was incredible. The Cave of the Winds was absolutely wild!
So glad we spent the money for the tour. Our tour guide was amazing and very funny. The maid of the mist boat was amazing. Just remember you will get wet. 😆
LOVED IT!!!!! This is park you can truly could not ever be bored.
Being that close to the fall. Love the boat ride.
The meeting spot was great and plenty of info prior to the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgable!
Paul and Peter very beautiful person Thanks you so much
Fine ticketing guide was knowledgeable
Bernie was great very personable and sherry went above and beyond to help us after I went to the wrong side
Jacob our guide is wonderful! Loved his stories on daredevils
I was surprised at how close we came to the falls! It was an awesome experience seeing the falls so close, and cooling on such a hot day. My favorite time this vacation.
I thought Darrel did a great job of managing such a diverse group. The falls speak for themselves. If I could add something to address. In the beginning, we're all standing around for at least 30 mins. Peter likes to engage with each person during check-in. But it would be better to move the line along faster and maybe get the tour started with those there sooner rather than waiting. Anyone late or has last-minute sign-ups can be brought in a second group. But Peter needs to move faster.
Our tour guide Paul was friendly and had tons of fun facts about the falls and surrounding area. As for the boat ride ... the Maid of the Mist was an amazing time!! The boat gets so close to the falls and offers a spectacular 360 view of the the area. You for sure get a bit more than a "mist" on the ride, but it's so worth it!!
Bowie was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and funny! We enjoyed listening to the history and his advice for the maid of the most experience!
Easy booking and directions, guide was great. Misleading site as it is not official for Maid boats, just a 3rd party overpriced walking tour of free state park then puts you on boats at the end. Could have done this ourselves and paid far less.
We very much liked the boat ride to the falls. It was an incredible experience with the water in the air and the turbulences of the falling water. The raincoat provided is a good protection against the water. Of course, the shoes get wet which can be accepted. However, the guided tour before was not so well organized. Because of the background noise of the falls the guy was difficult to understand and because of the large group he could not get through to everyone. For such problems one can imagine better solutions.
We had the ultimate Niagara Park tour guide — knowledgeable enough to teach a masterclass, kind enough to lend you an umbrella, and funny enough to make you forget you’re wearing a giant blue garbage bag (a.k.a. the Maid of the Mist poncho). He made the history exciting, the walk easy, and the boat ride unforgettable. 10/10 would get soaked again.

Darrell was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable and funny. My 3 kids and husband enjoyed the tour. Getting soaked on the boat and the Hurricane deck was one of the kids favorite.
Loved the tour guide and the organization. Historical info was great and appreciated the seamless guidance throughout the experience.
The tour was nothing short of AMAZING!!! It was such an incredible experience for my family and I. A special thank you to Jacob for being a great tour guide with an AWESOME sense of humor.
Our tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable and funny. The maid of the mist was amazing. You get so close to the falls. The cave of the winds was also very cool! Plan on getting very wet. I noticed people wearing sandals or crocs. Thats probably a better idea since my tennis shoes were completely soaked. We had a great time though. I highly recommend.
We loved our guide, Todd. He was really helpful and offered a lot of great information about the area. He made it easy for our group who had children of varying ages. So glad we booked with your group! There are two opportunities for improvement based on our groups experience. When booking (and checking in) it would be great if groups traveling together could indicate that they are with another family or families. It would also be great if that could be a question during the checkin process - our check in email came the morning of our departure. It would've been great if that detailed info came with our booking and then the reminder was sent the day before. Finally, our check-in host was not very pleasant. She seemed stressed and while very understandable given the circumstances she was the only person during the whole time there that didn't smile, have a kind tone, or seem welcoming. We all have "off" days and perhaps July 3rd was hers.
We had such a great time on our tour, thanks to our amazing guide, Jacob! He shared helpful tips along the way that really helped us get the most out of the experience. What we especially appreciated was how he made learning about the history of Niagara Falls not only informative, but actually fun. His energy and enthusiasm made all the difference!
My family and I decided to do the Boat Ride, Cave of the Winds & Observation Tower Guided Tour. It's definitely worth it. There were a few hiccups along the way including a downpour but I'd definitely do it again. Our tour guide Jacob was great- interactive and funny and the falls are beautiful to look at.
My husband and I had THE best time thanks to Bryan! We got to see and do everything! He gave us other recommendations for after the tour was over and he wasn't lying we definatly had to see them! he was awesome, kept the group together, kept us entertained, had fun with us, he was seriously the best! AND ALSO BRYAN WE FOUND A BLACK SQUIRRELL, after cave of the winds! Lol Thank you so much for such a great tour and time! Best anniversary weekend ever!!!
The headout app was worthless because it didn't sync to my purchase. The app would get a 1 star. However, the people on my tour guide were great! Got a text that morning where to meet and very easy to locate. Very friendly folks. Left promptly. Our guide Bernie was great with giving historical stories of the falls. He also has a unique sense of humor that I found entertaining. Plenty of time for pictures and rest breaks while still feeling like the tour is moving. If you don't mind getting wet, this is a great way to feel the power of the falls without attempting a barrel ride!
Greg was amazing! We had such a great time! Getting all the stories and history was so much better than doing this on our own without a guide!
All 3 experiences were awesome. Daniel was knowledgeable and understood the experience our group wanted.
It was unimaginably beautiful! Maid of the Mist was amazing. Seeing the falls that close is a must do. Got soaked at Cave of the Winds but really why wouldn't you? It was a hot day and the sun was bright it was the perfect end to a great stay at Niagara.
Our guide Kaleigh was very knowledgeable and wonderful to talk to. She was extremely helpful with everyone in the tour, making sure everyone got pictures together.
Out tour guide was awesome! Jacob was so informative & funnt! He made listening easy. Boat ride was great but our favorite was cave in winds. Recommend this tour to everyone. It also gave to accessibility for trolley service which we used even after the scheduled tour yo visit other parts of the Niagara Falls park.
Our tour guide, Jacob, was simply AMAZING!! Very informative and interactive, which made our family of 5 experience that much better! Highly recommend!
The meeting point at Hardrock Cafe was poorly organized, many people standing around with no clear queue to check in, and no one from the tour staff explaining to the masses what to do and what tour they are, so individuals kept going up asking, slowing down the whole check in process. The check in process's was all done by pen and paper, even though the tickets had a barcode, which slowed everything down more. Clear instructions and some form of sign is required to prevent mass confusion, in an already busy area. The tour guide was fine, and spoke two languages which was impressive. Overall you didn't really gain much more from having a tour guide except a few stories as you still had to queue with people doing it themselves, and the area is very well laid out so you could easily see everything without a tour guide.
Our tour guide Paul was great! He was knowledgeable and had great energy. The Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds part of the tour were incredible
I loved all the history I learned about Niagara Falls and I enjoyed being in a group tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was well organized.
It was the best, really loved it! Greg was amazing, very experienced and dedicated to the group. Thanks, the whole family enjoyed it so much.
Great tour, you get to see a lot!!! Be prepared to walk a lot, go on a trolley, and a boat ride. Also, we stayed on the Canadian side then realized we booked this for the New York side so be aware when booking your hotel! We did get to walk across the bridge though to get to the tour so that was actually pretty cool. The Maid of the Mist is amazing and Cave of the Winds is truly a unique experience. So glad we booked this tour!
Loved our guide, Danny! Informative, funny, thoughtful, good pace, and he even offered to take pictures of the families as we were at scenic spots. Highly recommend!!! Cave of the Einds was the best part of the whole trip!
When I booked it on the website, it said that the Gorge was part of the tour, which my friend was excited about. The intineray said "Niagara Falls, Maid of the Mist, Niagara Gorge, Cave of the Winds, and the Obersvation Tower" I'm assuming the obersvation tower was the landing on the top of maid of the mist, but we did not do the Gorge. Our tour guide, Ricky was chatty and fun, but it felt more of a way to get into the attractions without a hassle, rather than a tour. It was still great!
Finding the tour was a bit disconcerting, no signs or placards. But 'in' the mapped location. Our guide was Stephen (Steve) , he made the experience fun, lots of local information, anecdotes as well as being very personable. He was very on top of keeping the group together. Definitely "Recommended "
De boat tour "Maid of the Mist" was great, the observation tower was nice, de walk of the winds beneath and at the waterfall was super spectacular. The trolley ride was also nice. Thank you for accommodating this experience we have had on this guided tour. Our guide Ricky was Gerry friendly and social in the talking about the Niagara Falls and the knowings. He made our guided tour a pleasant experience. Thanks for that. He also told us that he hoped to get a raise 🤭.
Witnessing Niagara was an amazing experience. 2pm tour started 20 mins late...boarding experience was good, guide was good...time between maid of the mist and cave if wings was more than required...

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Niagara Falls-Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Our guide was friendly and had a lot of patience. We highly suggest both tours -Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds! Headout made the ticketing experience convenient.
The highlight of our experience was to see the falls which was spectacular however what made the whole experience even more memorable was our guide Mary. She was warm and friendly and so knowledgeable about Buffalo. Mary never rushed us and smoothly guided us from one event to another. She adjusted the order of what we were meant to see according to the crowds. It was a great day hanging out with our new friend Mary!
It started out perfect and stayed that way for the entire day. Gary was very knowledgeable & gave us great information. He got us on the Maid of the Mist & was right there when we got off. Same with the cave of the Winds walk. We enjoyed the other family with us. It was a supper great day & I would do it again in a heart beat. Thank you and 100% thank you to Gary!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely breathtaking. Of all the state and National Parks in the US, this one's my new favorite. Our guide, Janel, was amazing and had a ton of interesting stories to share. She kept the whole group engaged and ensured we finished right on time. I was traveling with my in laws who couldn't walk too far so she suggested us alternatives (a trolley ride) to cover part of the tour and met us at the next checkpoint. The markup compared to the ticket prices is quite high though. Both tickets will set you back by about $60 but you nearly pay $140 for an adult. Now if all or most of the extra money went to the guides, I'd be more than happy, but I doubt that's the case. Anyway, we had a great time.
While our guide was very pleasant, we did not see any value add from taking the tour vs. doing the attractions on our own - certainly not worth the large mark-up just to be led from place to place. Most of the group arrived late so we wasted our time waiting for them, and then the group straggled so much it was difficult for the guide to share info. Also, the email confirmation had the wrong meeting place. If I hadn't called to get precise directions, we would have waited at the wrong location. Overall, it was not a positive experience and we would not waste our money again taking tours with Headout. Pleasant guide but company added no real value. Save money and just follow the signs and go on your own.
Skipping crowd great guide but we started late and ended late
Our guide Selen was very knowledgeable and personable. She made us feel welcomed.
It was awesome and I enjoyed with the group
The tour guide was very good. It was fun
Small group and Gary was great!!!
The tour started nearly an hour after we were told to be at the meeting point. I thought that the price we paid was pretty high considering that we really only got the tickets to the Maid of the Mist and Cave of Winds. Our group size was supposed to be 7 but it ended up being 17. The walking pace was hard for me to keep up with, much less my 76 year old mom and too fast for how hot it was that day
We booked the 119$ tour which included all the sites and stops. First to note, our tour guide showed up in sagging sweats, no company logo or anything, really could have been anyone who walked by. While his attire didn't bother us, his lack of respect for not being on his phone did. He did not seem to know much facts of the tour, rather guesstimate. If only he would do the tour on his own and read all the monument sign posts he may learn what we had by reading them rather than listening to him. The sites we gorgeous, and views were breath taking. But I would advise anyone to save their money and do the sites on your own which will save you a lot of lack of informational talk, and money as the attractions that were booked on our behalf were 1/3 of our costs at best. It says up to 6 hours, we were done in 4. And while it says dinner will be shared amongst group, there is no food included. We will not recommend or use again, but the good intent is there. Just not price worthy. 317$ for 2 adults and 1 children, for things that would have costs about 120$ on our own. Do your homework on the attractions you'd like to see, I thought I had, but I didn't know what inwas looking for in a quick booking.
Absolutely NOT ONE thing with your company . This was the wrong tour for us and after only two hours when we realized it was the wrong tour, your company would not do anything for us in regards to a refund. we were told becouse it was within the 24 hour period of the tour. I feel that a company doing this type of business with tourist is a poor company and I will do all I can to let as many people know how you treat people and I am filling a complaint with the US Government and the NY State Government and any other Department of tourism that I can Yours Kevin R Thomas
there was no audio guide we saw other guides giving more info about the whole area- we saw them spending more time with their group we could have bought our own tickets and did the whole thing in less time - too much time in between both the events
Tried to cancel my tickets 14 minutes after I bought it becasue I was in Canada , not the USA . Impossible !!! Spoke with someone whose English was very , very bad . Lost effort. Wrote, spoke, impossible. Now the claim is through my bank. First time in my life.
EPIC experience! Did the tour with my girlfriend and we had the best time. Our guide was hilarious and knew all the secret photo spots. Pro tip: bring a dry bag for your phone.
Woooow, the falls are something else! Our guide, Tom, was super informative and kept everyone entertained. I went with my mom and she had the best time. Not too crowded when we went (early morning), so felt relaxed. If you’re a fan of nature, def worth it.
Our friends recommended this tour and glad we listened! Went with my husband and our 7yr old. The guide was AWESOME—knew everyone’s name by the end, super friendly. Got a bit wet by the falls but that’s part of the fun. Bring a poncho if you can. Would totally go again!
Nice tour. Lots of info but not too much. Guide was friendly and patient. The only thing I didn’t like was the crowd at the main lookout. Still worth it.
SOOOO IMPRESSIVE. The falls are even bigger up close than I expected. Our tour guide was easy to chat with and had all the answers, even to weird questions from my little bro. Didn’t feel rushed at any point which was nice. Only bummer was the snack stand was out of hot drinks and it was freezing, lol.
AMAZING!!! Our guide was so passionate and had great tips for photos. Super organized and didn’t feel rushed. 10/10 recommend.
Took my mom for her birthday and she LOVED it. Our guide was super sweet and patient. We lucked out with the weather—sunny but cool. The views are insane. Bring sunglasses, the glare off the water is real.
Best tour we did on our trip. Our guide was super friendly and even helped my grandma with her walker. Perfect for all ages.
Absolutely loved it! Our guide was so enthusiastic and kept everyone engaged. Even our grumpy teen smiled. Bring a raincoat—you’ll need it!

Bernie was the best guide! My husband and I had so much fun. The other group we were suppose to go with canceled so we basically had a private tour. Bernie was so knowledgeable and friendly! We absolutely adored him. I'd say the tour was worth it if you're looking for more of the historical side of Niagara which we were. The caves were super cool! I'd recommend the early morning tour, because it got super packed closer to the afternoon.
We thought Joe was very informative! We loved learning about the rich history of Niagara Falls! His lunch recommendation was perfect and we loved the pizza, gelato, and baked goods!
Brian our tour guide was awesome very knowledgeable and great funny personality you will love him he was great thank you so much
Our tour guide Jacob was amazing. He was funny, engaging and tells a story well. I am really glad we picked a tour instead of just buy the tickets and go to the cave. Learning the history of the falls and stories made it so much more interesting.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the surroundings and what to expect when we get to the top we'll never forget our experience there
Brian wa great! Knowledgeable and engaging!
Brian was an awesome tour guide. Would defiantly recommend him to anyone.
Great tour guide loved the experience
Billy was a great tour guide! Very funny & knowledgeable!
The guide was very informative and friendly.
Tour was beautiful. Bernie was friendly and fun. We would have liked more info on the history/geography of the park.
Guide was very knowledgeable. Could have done without the Canada bashing.
The guide did not provide much information. He mostly shared morbid stories. Then he just shared his opinions. I would have preferred to just pay for the cave access and skipped the tour altogether, as the tour was a waste of time and money. Nice guy, but I don't think being a tour guide is his forte.
The website for Niagara Falls tells you they don't sell pre-sale tickets but buy tickets online. What you don't realize is it is another site where you pay almost triple the price for something you didn't want. I wanted to see the Cave of the Winds, not an hour and half tour of falls I've seen 100 times. Very misleading site, and not worth what I inadvertently paid for.
Waited at the arch and no guide came. I decided to go to the ticket counter and was advised again to wait at the arch and a tour guide will arrive. No luck! I'm pretty sure it's a good app not very dependable guides. I had to buy 6 new tickets at the counter so the day wasn't a waste of time.

What I loved most about this experience was my tour guide Jimmy. He went above and beyond to make sure our group had a seamless transition throughout each event. He was on time, prompt, and best of all: knowledgable and friendly. My favorite attractions were Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds. The helicopter tour did not provide the view of the falls as advertised and was disappointing. Otherwise Jimmy made up for it. Thank you for an awesome experience.
The people were polite and hospitable and the view of the falls brilliant
I over paid for what I got all because I wanted to go on the helicopter witch did not happen
BEST birthday ever! My friends surprised me with this tour and honestly it was perfect. Our guide, Sam, made us laugh the whole time. Helicopter ride was short but so cool. Maid of the Mist got us SOAKED—totally worth it. Highly recommend!
Wasn’t sure what to expect but this tour was SO worth it. Our guide was super friendly and made everything easy. Helicopter ride was short but the view is something I’ll never forget. Boat ride was wild too. Highly recommend!
My partner and I LOVED it. Helicopter was quick but the views were bananas. Maid of the Mist was crazy fun, got soaked but didn’t care. Guide was super fun and let us go at our own pace. Would book again.
Best day trip in a long time! Helicopter was short but the view—OMG. Boat ride was insane, got completely soaked but it was soooo fun. Guide was super sweet. Would do again with friends.
Took my mom for her birthday and WOW, what a day! The Maid of the Mist boat was wayyyy wetter than I thought (bring extra socks lol). Our guide, Sam, was super chill and didn't rush us at all. The best part though? That helicopter ride—totally EPIC. Seriously, seeing the falls from up there was like a movie. We skipped the long lines too because the tour handled all that. Honestly, I’m not a big tour person but this was worth every penny. Weather was PERFECT—sunny, a bit breezy. Only hiccup was a slow elevator at the Cave of the Winds, but who cares, the views were nuts. 10/10 would do again.
Went with my family—everyone had a blast! Helicopter ride was the highlight. Maid of the Mist was crowded but fun. Guide was great with the kids.
What a DAY! I went with my partner and we both agreed the helicopter was just wild. Maid of the Mist was super fun but prepare to get soaked (ponchos only do so much). Guide was hilarious and kept us entertained. Would do again!
Absolutely LOVED it. Our guide was so organized and made sure we didn’t miss anything. Helicopter ride was short but the view? UNREAL. Boat ride was wild but fun. Would take my parents next time.
Went as a couple. The helicopter was over in a flash but the view was worth it. Boat ride was super packed but fun. Guide was great at keeping things moving.
If you only do one thing in Niagara, make it this! Did it solo and still had a blast. The helicopter ride is something else (sat in front, best seat). Weather was sunny and warm. Boat ride was a little packed but totally worth it.
Family tour! Kids loved the Maid of the Mist and helicopter. Our guide was super patient and helped with pics. No lines, smooth day. Would do again.
Did this tour with a bunch of friends and honestly, we’re still talking about it. The helicopter ride had us all screaming (good screams). Boat ride was a blast—bring waterproof shoes or ur gonna regret it. Our guide kept things moving but let us stop for all the silly group pics. Def worth the money.
Went with my sister. Tour was so easy—no waiting, guide took care of everything. Helicopter was my fave, even if it was quick. Boat ride was packed but still fun. Would def do again!
Great tour. Helicopter was short but wow, the view! Maid of the Mist was packed but still fun. Guide was organized and friendly.
Did this tour with my parents and it was a BLAST. Helicopter was a little scary at first but the view is worth it. Our guide, Mike, was a legend. We skipped all the lines and just enjoyed. Highly recommend for families.
Did this tour for my wife’s birthday. Everything was super smooth, guide picked us up right on time. No waiting in line at all. Helicopter was EPIC. Maid of the Mist was loud, wet, and just plain fun. We got ponchos but you still get a little soaked. Would recommend for couples.
Went with my boyfriend. EPIC day! Helicopter was wild, boat ride was loud and sooo wet. Guide kept us laughing. Would recommend for couples.
Sooo glad we did this! Helicopter ride was a bit scary at first but totally worth it. Maid of the Mist was super packed but the view up close? EPIC. Our guide, Jenny, was awesome and patient with our zillion questions.
We did it as a couple and it was honestly one of the best days we’ve had. Weather was GORGEOUS, not too hot. The boat ride was a blast, we got totally soaked (ponchos don’t help much lol). Helicopter was the highlight. Our guide, Raj, kept things smooth and fun. Saw a rainbow over the falls—unreal!
Went with my husband for our anniversary. Everything was perfect. Helicopter was thrilling and Maid of the Mist was so fun! Guide gave us great tips for photos. Would do again.
Loved every minute! Took my parents and they were amazed, esp. by the helicopter. Maid of the Mist was a total splash fest. Guide was so patient with our questions.
Everything ran on time and the guide was super organized. The Maid of the Mist is a must, but prepare for a crowd—tons of ppl jostling for the best view. Helicopter was quick but unforgettable. Bring a change of shoes if you hate soggy socks.

Great tour. Leila was an amazing tour guide. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. We learned things that we would have never known if we did not do the tour. It is well worth it. We had a private guide and did every major attraction in an expeditious manner. I highly recommend this tour.
